1 Those who hear and do the Word of the master ever, build a house on solid rock,
to be shaken never, when the rains, the floods appall, all the tempests' fury
Cannot shake it, standing tall, on the rock, securely.
Build we well, build to last, buidl our house together, on the Rock of Ages, fast, build to stand forever
2 Those who hear and do not do, In the words delighting, build a house on shifting sand,
Ruin swift inviting, when the rains, and floods appall, as the blows fall faster,
Built on sand, the house must fall. In comlete disaster,

3 No one lives but builds a house, hgih or low our station, builds on Christ the Rock, or else
Sand, without foundation, Christ will come and judge us each after our endeavor
Rock or sand, to fall or stand, stand or fall forever.
