Apostle's Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His Only Son our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried;
He descended into hell; The third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in The Holy Ghost, The Holy Catholic Church,
The Communion of Saints, The forgiveness of sin,
The resurrection of the body, And the life everlasting. Amen.

PRES: So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
CONG: For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
PRES: But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
CONG: and all these things will be given to you as well.

18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
19 Do not quench the Spirit.
20 Do not despise prophecies,
21 but test everything; hold fast what is good.
22 Abstain from every form of evil.
